For storage of bulk materials such as barite, bentonite, cement and calcium carbonate. The bulk tanks receive, store and transfer bulk materials as required. The tanks can be delivered in standard sizes, specified sizes or engineered to suit the available space.
Tanks are delivered with the standard Rotor fluidizing bottom securing optimal fluidizing prior to transport to surge tanks or high-rate mixers. In addition the tanks are typically delivered with instrumentation required to interface the bulk control system for automated transport and refill of surge tanks. Heave and tilt systems are available for drill ships and semi’s to maintain stable and reliable monitoring of the tank contents in all situations.
